Dr. Natale began his post-graduate training as an intern at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn in 1979. The next year, he entered the general surgery residency program at the State University of New York  at Stony Brook, finishing in 1984.

Dr. Natale then entered the plastic surgery residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas, and completed his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery in 1987, serving as chief resident from 1986 to 1987.

Dr. Natale has been in private practice since 1987, holding admitting and operating privileges at several well-known local area hospitals and free-standing ambulatory surgery  facilities (see surgical facilities). Dr. Natale held an academic position as assistant professor of plastic surgery at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, being involved in resident physician education and training from October 1990 through June 2003.

At the New Image Cosmetic & Laser Surgery Center, Dr. Natale's emphasis is on facial and eyelid surgery, plastic surgery of the nose, laser resurfacing, laser hair and spider vein removal, breast surgery including augmentation, lifts and reduction, body contouring surgery including tumescent ultrasonic liposuction and tummy tucks.
